From Friday February 28th to March 2nd, OverClocking-TV is teaming up with Corsair for the third year in a row to provide gamers and visitors of the LANETS an Extreme Overclocking show-off with 230L of liquid nitrogen.

The overclocking show-off will be broadcasted from the biggest LAN party in Canada, all week-end long on OverClocking-TV and with live update on our @overclockingtv twitter account and OverClocking-TV Facebook page. It will feature a special guest : world renowned overclocker Roman “Der8auer” Hartung.

This year, Intel is joining Corsair as sponsors of the overclocking show-off to outline the overclocking and performances capabilities of the LGA1150 (Z87 series) and LGA2011 (X79 series) platforms. Turn on the live broadcast this week end or come see us to discuss about the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility.

For the overclocking show-off Der8auer and Trouffman will be using MSI mainboards and graphic cards as well as GIGABYTE mainboards, completed with Corsair memories, power supply and SSDs to support the Intel processors.

The overclocking show-off will be live from the Corsair booth at LANETS, allowing overclockers and gamers alike to get a view of the performances of the Corsair® Vengeance and Corsair® Dominator Platinum memory kits, Force GTX SSDs and AX-series power supply like the AX1200i.

All the setup used for the overclocking show-off will be based on INTEL platforms such as Intel® Core™ i7-4770K Processor and Intel® Core™ i7-4930K Processor

From the newly released MSI Z87 MPowerMax AC to the robust MSI X79-GD65, teaming with differents models of graphic card like the monstrous MSI GTX 780Ti GAMING 3G or the N770 TF 2GD5/OC, the overclockers will push the gear to the maximum.

The overclockers will also have access to the GIGABYTE X87-OC, a mainboard specifically built for them, resulting from years of input from the community.

Roman “Der8auer” Hartung will be using his newly released Cryoclamp memory pot to overclock the Corsair® Memory on Intel® platforms as much as possible.

Schedule

We will start broadcasting officially on Friday afternoon at 5PM (Montreal Time) and follow up on saturday all day (10AM – 10PM), same on Sunday (11AM – 5PM).

All the times are based on Montreal timezone (EST), you can use a timezone converter tool or click on the time to see it in your region.

  • I live too far, I can’t make it or I am Australian and just want to see it live from my couch.

    • Bien sur, les explications et présentations se ferons en francais et en anglais, en fonction des spectateurs présent. La diffusion en direct sera majoritairement en anglais mais tout le monde est le bienvenu.
